1 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup margarine or butter, softened
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup finely chopped pacans
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix flour, margarine and 1/4 cup brown sugar; press in ungreased square pan, 8x8x2 inches. Bake10 minutes.
Beat remaining ingredients except pecans in small bowl on low speed, scraping bowl constantly, 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally, 1 minute. Spread over baked layer; sprinkle with pecans. bake until edges are light brown, about 25 minutes. Cool; refigerate at least 2 hours. Cut into 1 1/4 inch suares. Store in refrigerator. 3 dozen squares.
