Stir butter and sugar foamy and stir in the egg yolks, one by one. Add lemon peel, flour and half of the beaten egg whites - the rest are for decoration. Bake until half done, about 20 minutes, at 200C/400F. Then you take it out and gently spread with remaining egg white foam, beaten even more with 3 tbs sugar. Bake until done, about 20 minutes more, unmold, and decorate the cold cake with red berries of your own choice. Enjoy! |
