Homemade ChocolatesRecipe Index: Desserts > Candy1 cup sweetened condensed milk 1/4 pound soft margarine 2-1/2 pounds powdered sugar Flavoring to taste (such as vanilla, rum, lemon, etc.) 12 ounces semi sweet chocolate bits 4 ounces sweet or unsweetened chocolate 1/2 block paraffin wax Toothpicks Directions Blend well sweetened condensed milk, margarine, sugar and flavoring. Shape into tiny balls; chill or freeze. In double boiler, blend semi sweet chocolate, sweet or unsweetened chocolate and wax. Blend well. Impale each candy with a toothpick and dip quickly into chocolate, push from toothpick onto waxed paper and dribble a bit of chocolate over hole. |
