1 c brown sugar
1 c dark corn syrup
2 tsp baking soda
melted milk chocolate for dripping
mix sugar and syrup in a 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole dish. place in microwave uncovered for 4 minutes on High. Take out and stir. continue cooking on High for 6 1/2-7 minutes longer till 290 or hard cracking stage. Stir in baking soda very fast. The syrup will foam. Do not overstir, but mix well! Pour into a buttered bread pan , 9x5x2-inch. When cool, break into pieces and dip in melted milk chocolate.
