Cinnamon RoundsRecipe Index: Desserts > Miscellaneous2 cups flour 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup milk 1/4 cup melted butter 1-1/2 teaspoons cinnamon 3 tablespoons sugar Directions Sift flour, baking powder and salt in bowl; mix well. Cut in 1/4 cup butter until crumbly. Add milk, stirring until dough forms a ball. Knead on lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic. Roll into rectangle. Brush with 1/4 cup melted butter; sprinkle with mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Roll as for jelly roll. Cut into 1/2 inch slices. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees F. for 10 minutes. Makes 12 servings |
