Perfect Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
2 1/4 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, beaten
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup shortening
1 Tablespoon milk

Directions
Cream sugar, shortening, vanilla, & eggs - beat by hand. Add dry ingredients
& then roll out. Add flour if needed - roll thin for crispy, thick for a soft cookie. Cut out in favorite shapes. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 min.
Frost with favorite frosting if desired.
