Secret Kiss Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup ground walnuts
1 package (9 ounces) chocolate kisses, unwrapped
Powdered sugar, optional

Directions
Cream butter and sugar in large mixing bowl until fluffy. Add vanilla, flour and nuts; mix by hand to combine. Wrap each chocolate kiss completely with 1 teaspoon dough. Place on greased baking sheet; bake in preheated 350 degree F. oven about 10 minutes, until light brown. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar, if desired.
